ImageToSVG lets you convert an image, from a file or live webcam, to an SVG file with just one click.
The SVG files created can then be imported into NewRAD's GCode Draw software, and from there you can edit the drawings, center it in frame, add text and graphics and then generate GCode from the drawing. Then you can send that GCode to the NewRAD CNC controller with just one click, and then run it. NewRAD CNC is integrated with GCode Draw for a seamless experience from design to generating GCode to running it on a CNC machine.

Using GCode Draw, you can Convert an SVG File to GCode Draw format, then edit it, adding text, graphics, etc. And then generate GCode from the drawing and send it to the integrated NewRAD CNC Controller.

New Formats available. Now you can convert to SVG, DXF, PDF, PGM, PDF Page, Postscript, EPS, geojson, gimpath, xfig formats.
Crop button added to allow you first crop your photos, allowing to work with the smallest amount of data during all the downstream processing, without having to use other photo manilpulation software.
The Redo Button. The most important new feature is the Redo button. After converting the outline drawing to an SVG file, you can selected a portion of a pic of the SVG file, and then hit the "Redo" button, and adjust that selected portion to be darker or lighter.
This can be very important because for most photos, there is no perfect single darkness setting. The Redo button fixes this by letting you select which areas on the drawing that need to be lighter or darker.
Often times the overall darkness of the drawing will be correct, but part of the outline of say a persons face or head, or arm, etc. will be missing. To fix this, just select where the outline did not come through,
and adjust the threshold level higher, and hit the Redo button, and it will fix that part of the outline where it was missing. The Redo button is a huge advancement in the level of quality of SVG file that can
be obtained from Image To SVG software. After you have finished adjusting the darkness for selected areas of the drawing, then hit the Finalize button to create the final SVG file.

Here is an example of a poor quality pic that is more difficult to work with..
Select the desired filter, Sorbel 3x3 is generally the best filter. Then click the Apply Filter button.
Now set the desired threshold level, select SVG as the format, and then click the Convert button.
As you can see, the outline was missing from the the top of the head. Select that area...
Then adjust the threshold to a darker level, and the hit the Redo button, to make the selected area darker.
Continue to fix the areas that were not dark enough as seen in the pics below...
Then click the Finalize button to create the final SVG file, ready to be imported into GCode Draw software.
Download it first to see that it will install and run on your PC first. You must purchase and activate it before you can generate SVG files from photos or a webcam.
